Creo que hasta me gusta más que el trailer, y no sólo por las imágenes nuevas. Muy chulo.

Re: Bandito Brothers __ACT OF VALOR ___Info,photos and videos.SEAL Team7
George Worthington
U.S. Navy Rear Admiral (retired), Navy SEAL (1965-1992)
“Act of Valor” showed ships and subs supporting. It highlighted the SEAL Team aquatic orientation, close-quarters battle, sniping, small-unit tactics, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, Army and Navy rotary wing, Air Force C-130, parachuting, hostage rescue, special reconnaissance and platoon cohesion.
Summed up, it was “Saving Private Ryan,” “Blackhawk Down” and “Band of Brothers” rolled into one, with the saving grace of staying on a compressed storyline. It is not overly long, but it is tense. The “body count” was beyond tally. Every segment of the film was precise and clear as to its objective — with abundant action piled on. The viewer almost feels on the scene himself. I particularly enjoyed the scene where the river craft mini-gun stops the chase trucks cold. At 3,000 rounds a minute, your standard Ford F-150 is outgunned!
There was not enough time to really demonstrate human interest — except where platoon banter is briefly seen — or delve into individual characters.
“Act of Valor” tells a narrow story extremely well, a tight tale of real units involved in a decade of combat. The trailing credits cite SEALs killed since 9/11 — and a lump locks in your throat. It’s time to close knowing that other SEALs are still in the fight. And the country wants more of them.
Bob Schoultz
U.S. Navy Captain (retired), Navy SEAL (1975-2005)
Bob Schoultz, Capt USN (ret) Navy Seal 1975-2005.
I recently viewed “Act of Valor” for the second time. I was invited by the Cinema Society of San Diego to view a pre-screening, and afterward, I and a few other SEAL veterans and an active-duty captain from Naval Special Warfare Command were asked to comment.
Liked: I liked the introductory interview with the “Bandito Brothers” who directed the film — “Mouse” McCoy and Scott Waugh. The movie opens with them speaking for about five minutes about what was involved in making the movie, and they offer some candid and positive impressions of the SEALs with whom they worked.
• The character and capabilities of the men were pretty realistic — they were not portrayed as superheroes, rather as very well-trained “tactical athletes” committed to each other, their families and their mission.
• The level of comfort and intimacy between the men reflects the best units in the SEAL Teams. Not all SEAL units are that tight, but many are.
• It showed the SEALs as family men, which most are, and fairly depicted the divided loyalty these men struggle with, between their family and their unit/mission.
• The movie gave us a look at the face of the evil and zealotry we are fighting, and hopefully makes it clear how important it is that we aggressively fight these people.
• I thought the movie captured pretty well the intensity of close-quarters combat. Some of the shots give an excellent “you are there” sense.
