William A. Ainsworth, better known as Bill, proud Chippewa Native American was born December 25, 1945 in Port Huron, Michigan. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 18, 2010. Bill played high school sports and partiicpated in football, baseball and track. He was an extraordinary athlete.

After graduating in 1964, he enlisted in the United States Navy, trained and became a SEAL (Class 33 East Coast) Team member. He served 2 tours in Vietnam while in the Navy.

After serving in the Navy, he went to Western Michigan University to earn his degree in Social Services and Recreation for the Handicapped. He worked in social services for more than 25 years in numerous roles, with various populations. He mostly enjoyed working with the handicapped and troubled youth.

Bill moved to California in 1976 and continued his social service career. He met his wife in 1978, Elizabeth Ainsworth in Palm Springs, fell in love and married her 4 months later. They shared 31 years of a blessed marriage.

Bill and Elizabeth moved to Ramona. California and had a beautiful baby girl, Marian Katherine Ainsworth in 1984. His baby girl was the love of his life. He continued his social service career to include being a foster parent for more than 10 years.

In 1995, moved to Murrieta, California and changed careers to become a Security Officer at Pechanga Casino. He also worked at Pala Casino and was Director of Security at Valley View Casino.

What Bill loved most was his family. That was his purpose in life. We are blessed that such a loving and wonderful man was our husband and father. He is truly and sadly missed.

However, we know he is with our Lord in Heaven, with his wings and sword and is a soldier for Christ.

Services:

A Grave Side Service will at the Riverside National Cemetery on Monday 11/29 with full military honors will follow the memorial .
